From one melting pot to another, City of the Sun made their way north from the streets of New York City to the stages of Otis Mountain. Three musicians, John Pita, Avi Snow and Zach Para – hailing from Ecuador, Israel and Seattle – each bring an equal part to the orchestral acoustic sound of their free-flowing and heavily rhythmic jams. The ethnic roots in their songs are hard to nail down to one part of the world, not that you have time to wonder once you’re swept up in the the driving instrumental of each song.
