While we’re eager to get our community together again, after much discussion, the celebrations will have to wait until next year.
We’re grateful to have reached this stage of the pandemic with our hearts and health intact. There’s a huge sense of eagerness to get our community together again and bring you the caliber of event we’ve all come to expect at Otis Mountain, but unfortunately, the celebrations will have to wait until 2022.
It’s encouraging to see the industry coming alive again. Festivals are announcing, venues are filling calendars, and artists are getting back on the road. For Otis, we’re a small team, operating in a small town. Even as things look up, the reduced timeline, general uncertainty & safety of our communities makes our usual full blown, year-round production hard to imagine without making serious changes. We don’t want to compromise when it comes to the experience we provide & you expect, thus, we are going to wait to do this thing right next September.
The return to “normal” is a slow thaw, but we’re not taking the time off. Our wheels are turning and we plan to serve up a few surprises between now and the next Get Down. We will be taking this year to build, experiment, & collaborate towards an all-time reunion in 2022. Mark your calendars for September 2022. Until then, thanks for hanging with us.
We can’t wait to see you on the other side of all this but until then, stay safe, stay healthy, and keep in touch.
