Sam Moss is a Boston based songwriter and string player. His work rambles through various offshoots of Americana, from original and interpreted folk songs, to pastoral and occasionally jagged instrumental guitar.
In May 2016 he released Fable, his ninth solo album. Moss also compiled Imaginational Anthem Volume Five for Tompkins Square Records. He is the recipient of fellowships from the MacDowell Colony and Marble House Project, and his work has been featured in NPR, Paste, and Daytrotter, among others. Highlights from the 50-city Fable album release tour include the Newport Folk Festival, and dates with Joan Shelley, Marisa Anderson, and Diane Cluck.
